Client List

INTRODUCTION

I was trained has a Technical Operator to be proficient in a range of television skills and given a thorough technical education in broadcast technology. After completing my courses in 1987 I freelanced mainly as a location sound recordist and an editor for local news. It was only after on joining TV-am in 1989 that I was given my first experience of working a studio pedestal camera on a live show.

With TV-am losing it's franchise I was made redundant and became freelance in 1992. Initially I continued working as a studio cameraman for GMTV, LWT and MTV Europe. Subsequently my original training as a Technical Operator helped me work in a variety of roles. Added to this was my ability to bring operational experience and combine it with the ability to learn new technology. This cumulated in my work on three Scandinavian Disney channels that successfully launched on schedule.

Since 2006 I have returned to predominately working on live shows and this year I will celebrate 20 years as a studio cameraman.
